Regrets or Lessons

If you learned something, then it happened to teach you, and maybe you’re better for it.

Do you have regrets? I think everyone does. They say life is too short for regrets, that we shouldn’t look back and linger in the past, and not to give too much time and thought to what we would have done differently. But isn’t that part of what makes us human? We learn a lot from our mistakes and with each new season of our lives, we look at everything much different. Time teaches us wisdom, grace, and so many lessons that help us grow. I believe if you learned from it, then it was a lesson, not a regret. And the lessons that teach us about ourselves are the most valuable.
